What makes a package GREEN?

The first step toward Environmentally Friendly Packaging is to print with low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) water-based ink and adhesive systems. Water-based inks are far lower in VOCs than solvent-based inks which make them safer for operations and better for the environment.

Subsequent steps combine low VOC ink and adhesives with environmentally friendly materials ranging from biodegradable and compostable films to films or substrates made from sustainable or renewable resources.
