Customer Project Manager

The customer project manager will be the lead internal contact for customers. Ensure customer projects / job orders are successful from order placement and lead time expectations all the way through completion and receipt of Eagle product.

Job Description:

  • Be the customer liaison for all communication once purchase order is received.
  • Enter sales order into ERP system and create order confirmations.
  • Retrieve signed order confirmations and signatures on Terms and Conditions of Sale.
  • Coordinate and be the central point of communication regarding graphics and prepress work including the return of the signed proof for production (and drawdowns when applicable).
  • Work in conjunction with sales team on new customer/project as well as existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with sales team and customers.
  • Create job jackets and other necessary paperwork and details for production to accurately fulfill orders.
  • Collaborate with Shipping / Logistics Coordinator to ensure orders are shipped when and where requested. Act as back-up in this capacity, as needed.
  • Manage any customer finished goods stocking programs and updating of information flow (daily, if needed).
  • Coordinate with Purchasing (as needed) to ensure materials are in-house to meet lead time needs of customer.
  • Act as back-up to other Customer Project Managers, as needed.
  • Collaborate with Production and Scheduling to ensure all projects are receiving proper levels of attention to detail.
  • Assist with customer deposit requirements and approval of invoicing on all shipments.
  • Track performance metrics regarding compression of lead times and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed at all times
  • Escalate any issues/concerns to management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two to four years of experience serving customers in time sensitive capacity preferred.
  • Professional communication skills, follow-through, and responsiveness – with a sense of urgency to deliver the desired customer experience.
  • Detail-oriented and accountable for the accuracy of the information provided to production.
  • Proficient in keyboarding/typing, as this position requires a high level of email correspondence and data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Good general math skills.
