Eagle Cares

At Eagle, we are more than flexible packaging and printing, we are a community. We strive to make our community and environment better. In our production area we work to use environmentally friendly products and reduce waste wherever we can. We strive to be a positive partner in our community. Our Eagle Cares Community will focus on volunteering, food drives and mentoring projects.

The Eagle Cares Team is proud to have been able to spread some warmth and joy to several families this christmas.

Between our Batavia, IL and Waupun, WI facilities we were able to donate food and gifts to the Tri-Cities Family Services – Adopt-a-family in Geneva, IL. and we donated gifts to twenty children through the Reach Waupun Holiday Help Program in Waupun, IL.

Some members of our Eagle Cares team recently visited a local 501(C)(3) non-profit vocational farm program called Live Learn and Lead in Hampshire, IL. The program provides therapeutic hands-on learning for adults with intellectual disabilities and at-risk youth. They help instill work ethics and the value of caring for animals in an agriculture environment.
The Eagle Cares team is raising funds to support this important program by having an employee raffle for a gift basket of items the farm produces, and Eagle will be matching all donations raised. Live Learn and Lead aslo has a booth at the Batavia, IL Farmers’ Market every week in Batavia, IL.
For more information on Live Learn and Lead visit www.livelearnandlead.org.

THANK YOU for hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, November 2, 2022 with Vitalant. It takes the support and dedication of people like you to make blood drives a success. Your time and commitment are appreciated and your efforts have not gone unnoticed, said Gabriela Amante, Account Manager – Donor Recruitment for Vitalant.

As the Blood Drive coordinator of Eagle Flexible Packaging, you know that there is no substitute for blood. Each year, nearly 5 million Americans need blood transfusions. Blood helps trauma and burn patients, premature infants, heart surgery patients, organ transplant recipients and those fighting cancer, among others. In emergencies, it’s the blood already on the hospital shelves that saves lives. The need for blood can strike anyone at any time.

Due to your efforts we collected 28 blood products, potentially saving up to 84 lives!

Batavia, IL. April 03, 2019 – Eagle Flexible Packaging would like to send a great big heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped us collect much needed supplies for the families of the Ronald McDonald House of Central DuPage Hospital.

“It made me so proud to deliver a truckload full of so many amazing items! I can’t even imagine how heartbreaking it would be to watch your child suffer through a disease or illness and I am so proud of the fact that the employees of Eagle stepped up to give what we could to help spread some kindness among the families currently living in the House. When you open your hearts to give to those in need you truly get so much more in return”.

Andi V – Community Relations, Eagle Flexible Packaging.

May, 2018 – “What a great night! This was our third time serving with the Eagle Cares Team at FMSC in Aurora and our largest group to date! There is no question that coming together as a Team not only at Eagle but in our community to serve and give back uplifts us all in a very special way. I am so grateful to everyone and their families for taking time out of their busy week to join us in a collective effort to serve those in need!”

Andi Vacca – Board Chairwoman, Eagle Cares.

2nd Annual Eagle Cares Blood Drive – LifeSource

November, 2017 – For November’s event, in an effort to provide support for the hurricanes in Houston, Florida, and Puerto Rico, Eagle hosted a LifeSource Blood Drive at our facility on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. We had an amazing turn-out (even more than last time!) of over 30 donors – thank you to everyone who supported this great cause. Together we can help save lives.

Feed My Starving Children – Aurora

August, 2016 – Our Eagle Cares team came together at the FMSC – Aurora location to help pack over 14,000 meals in just a few hours! These meals will aid malnourished children around the world. We are proud to be part of a community that aims to break the cycle of poverty.

Fox Valley Hands of Hope – Geneva

June, 2016 – For the second year in a row, members of the Eagle Cares team volunteered their time (and muscles) to assist Fox Valley Hands of Hope with their Annual Garden Party. On May 18th & May 20th we offered the use of our Eagle Truck for logistics needs and storage space at our West Chicago location. Our team loaded and unloaded several large items at multiple locations in preparation for the event. With our help, the Garden Party was a success raising ¾ of FVHH’s annual goal in just one afternoon!
