“Fox Valley Hands of Hope works to enhance the quality of life and to provide HOPE to those experiencing grief or life-threatening illnesses in Kane and Kendall counties, as well as parts of DuPage county, in Illinois.” On May 24th and May 25th we offered the use of our Eagle Truck for logistics needs and storage space at our West Chicago location. Our team loaded and unloaded several large items at multiple locations in preparation for the event. With our help, the Garden Party was a success raising ¾ of FVHH’s annual goal in just one afternoon!
FVHH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Geneva, IL. Founded in 1981 as a hospice program, it now provides comfort, support, compassion, and resources to those who have suffered loss or are facing grave illnesses—all funded by the community and offered free of charge. All FVHH programs are available to anyone in need—adults, children, and families from any background or belief system. Last year, more than 2,000 people experienced grief support and comfort through treatment for illness.
