Utility Workers assist Production, Material Handling, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Building Maintenance with a variety of support duties.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cut and stage cores for Operators.
- Assist Operators with moving, loading, or unloading materials at the machines.
- Wrap and strap pallets.
- Stage and de-stage materials.
- Refill workstations with supplies (e.g. boxes, pallets, tape, chemicals, etc.).
- Complete workstation and facility sanitation checklists.
- Clean and organize outdoor storage areas.
- Assist with bagging and boxing finished goods.
- Organize workstations and production areas.
- Use a company vehicle to pick up and drop off materials and supplies and perform other business-related errands.
- Assist the Press department with clean up, wash sink duties, and garbage removal.
- Empty trash and production waste from production and office areas.
- Assist with shafting plates in the Pre-Press department.
- Assist with sorting finished product.
- Operate valving machines as needed.
- Assist with light maintenance activities as needed.
- Operate floor scrubber to clean production flooring.
- Participate in facility deep cleans and regular weekend cleaning.
- Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed at all times. Escalate any issues/concerns to management.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to safely work in a fast-paced production environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Sense of accountability, including record of good attendance.
- Effective time management skills and ability to maximize productivity.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, and climb a ladder and stairs.
- Must be able to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to work an overnight shift (if applicable for 2nd/3rd shift positions).
- Willingness and ability to work weekends.
- Valid driver’s license is required at time of hire.
- Excellent work ethic and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualification:
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in the flexible packaging industry.
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour

- Company Paid Short-Term Disability– The Short-Term Disability premium is 100% paid by Eagle.
- Company Paid Long-Term Disability– The Long-Term Disability premium is 100% paid by Eagle.
- Life Insurance– The Basic Life premium is 100% paid by Eagle and is a flat $20,000 benefit for all FT, benefit eligible employees. Employees have the option to purchase additional voluntary life insurance for self, spouse, and dependent children.
- Vacation/PTO – The amount of vacation/paid time off (PTO) employees receive each year starts at 80 hours (2 weeks) each year, which accrues at a rate of 1.538 hours per week, and increases with the length of employment.

- Sick Leave– Eligible for paid sick days at the rate of 3 days (24 hours) per year after 6 months of service (prorated for per the calendar year).
