Feed My Starving Children Event at Eagle Flexible Packaging

As part of our Eagle Cares initiative, Eagle Flexible Packaging once again partnered with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) this past week to pack meals to help nourish children around the world and fight against poverty. These specially formulated meals designed to meet the nutrition needs of children supply orphanages, clinics, schools, and other food-supplying programs, and it’s amazing what can be accomplished by volunteers hand-packing these meals in just a few hours!

“What a great night! This was our third time serving with the Eagle Cares Team at FMSC in Aurora and our largest group to date! There is no question that coming together as a Team not only at Eagle but in our community to serve and give back uplifts us all in a very special way. I am so grateful to everyone and their families for taking time out of their busy week to join us in a collective effort to serve those in need!”

Andi Vacca – Board Chairwoman, Eagle Cares.

FMSC is a 501(c)(3) Christian non-profit organization founded in 1987. Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, Feed My Starving Children produced more than 333 million nutritionally complete meals for malnourished children last year—feeding 779,000 children every day! As a very lean operation, more than 90% of financial donations go directly to food production. For more information and the many ways you can get involved, visit the Feed My Starving Children website (fmsc.org), or the Aurora chapter’s Facebook page.

It’s important to us at Eagle Flexible Packaging to support great charities like Feed My Starving Children because we recognize that we’re more than just a company, but also a community—and we value giving back to the larger (even global) community as well. Eagle Cares aims to improve our community and our environment, with responsible manufacturing processes, sustainable materials, and being good neighbors and community members locally and abroad.
